The short version

Replicate is an open model marketplace, built for running and deploying ML models.

Fluxpool is a curated API for image and video generation. OpenAI-compatible. Built-in playground and editing tools. No Docker, no containers. Built for creative professionals and developers who want to generate, not deploy.

→ Fluxpool: curated models. Replicate: open model marketplace.

What Fluxpool gives you

OpenAI-compatible API

Already using the OpenAI SDK? Change your base URL to api.fluxpool.ai. That's the entire migration. Same SDK, same code patterns, different models.

Python
# Before (OpenAI)
client = OpenAI(api_key="sk_...")

# After (Fluxpool) — one line changed
client = OpenAI(
    base_url="https://api.fluxpool.ai/v1",
    api_key="fp_your_api_key"
)

Editing tools, built in

No Docker, no containers, nothing to deploy. Open the app and edit what you generate, on the same credit balance.

Region editing: paint an area on a Flux 2 Pro image and only that area is regenerated.

Seedream Layers: split an image into layers and export them as a ZIP.

Seedance 2.5: Reference, Extend, Edit, and First & Last modes, plus a 480p draft rendered to a 1080p final.

Predictable pricing

Fluxpool charges credits per generation. Each model has a listed credit price, and one balance covers every model.

Fluxpool:  "flux-2-pro: from 3 CR (about $0.04–$0.07) per image."

Curated, not overwhelming

Fluxpool offers 16 selected image and video models, so you choose from a short list, all on one key and one credit balance.

Fluxpool:  16 models  →  One key. Ready to go.

When Fluxpool isn't the fit

Look elsewhere if you:

→ Need to deploy your own models (Fluxpool runs a curated, managed catalog)

→ Need to fine-tune or train models

→ Need models outside image and video generation

If you need a curated, OpenAI-compatible API specifically for image and video generation — Fluxpool is built for that.

The Fluxpool call

Image generation with the OpenAI SDK:

Fluxpool

Python
from openai import OpenAI

client = OpenAI(
    base_url="https://api.fluxpool.ai/v1",
    api_key="fp_your_api_key"
)

response = client.images.generate(
    model="seedream-5.0",
    prompt="A dragon on a neon-lit Tokyo rooftop",
    size="1024x1024"
)
print(response.data[0].url)

No new SDK to learn. If you know the OpenAI SDK, you know Fluxpool.

Common questions

Can I use my Replicate code with Fluxpool?

Not directly — the APIs have different formats. But if you use the OpenAI SDK (Python or Node), switching to Fluxpool is one line: change the base URL. See the quickstart guide.

Does Fluxpool support custom model deployment?

No. Fluxpool provides a curated catalog of managed models, not an open marketplace. If you need to deploy your own models, Fluxpool isn't built for that.

How does Fluxpool handle video generation?

Fluxpool offers dedicated video models (Wan Video, Runway, Seedance) through the same API. Video generation is async: you submit a job, then poll for the result. Seedance 2.5 adds Reference, Extend, Edit, and First & Last modes, and a 480p draft you can render to a 1080p final. Same credit balance as images.

How is Fluxpool priced?

In credits per generation. Each model has a listed credit price, and one balance covers every model. See pricing for per-model rates.

Can I try Fluxpool before committing?

Yes. Sign up and get a 1-month Trial plan — 50 credits, all models unlocked, and 10 concurrent generations for 30 days. No credit card required. Credits never expire; to keep generating after the trial, subscribe to a plan.

Does Fluxpool have a playground?

Yes. Fluxpool includes a full visual playground with model selection, parameter controls, and generation history — plus an API for programmatic access. Both are included with every account.
